A Dog was walking across a little plank over a river, carrying a piece of meat in her teeth.
She saw herself in the water and thought another dog was carrying meat there.
She dropped her own meat and rushed to take the meat from that other dog.
But there was no other meat at all, and the river carried her own meat away.
So the Dog was left with nothing.
