The Fox and the Grapes

The shortest version of the familiar fable about a fox who could not reach the grapes.

A Fox saw ripe bunches of grapes hanging above her and began trying to reach them so she could eat them.

She tried for a long time, but she could not get them. To quiet her disappointment, she said:

“They are still green.”
